Hey everyone,

I understand I'm still a relative newbie here in this forum, but I gotta say I love this place. Seeing others share a passion for not only PRS guitars, but also tone, music, and life in general keeps me coming back for more. I figure since I am going to be hanging around I'd better introduce myself.

I'm 25 years old and currently in my second year of law school. (I know what you're thinking PRS AND LAWYERS. BLAH) I guess I would say I'm more of a musician who moonlights as a "career student." I have been playing guitar since I was 12. My uncle got me started with a rinky dink red Strat, but he always steered me toward PRS because he gigged with a Singlecut and a Custom 24. I remember the first time he let me play that Blue Matteo SC. Boom. Hooked. Never looked back.

I bought my first PRS in 2007. It is a grey black Custom 22 ten top. I saved up from 3 summers of working to finally purchase it. It's a guitar that I will never EVER let go. It has inspired numerous song ideas, late nights, and general shenanigans.

I've owned Gibsons, Fenders, etc. etc. but I always find myself gravitating back towards those familiar birds. And now I'm passing the torch to my cousin who is more like a little brother to me. He doesn't know it yet, but I've purchased a SE Zach Myers model as a birthday present. Here's to hoping he runs with PRS just like I did.

All your stories, advice, opinions regarding tone, etc in this forum really do make me happy. Until next time guys, rock on loud and proud. Keep the good vibes going!!!

Welcome to the forum. Great story.

It's kinda of a custom here to post pics of your Prs's .....lol

Welcome aboard. What an awesome cousin you must be!

Let see some pics when you get a chance.

Thanks Guys!
Here a few quick pictures of part of the collection.

If you guys are up for guitarporn I could always take some detailed photos of any of my guitars..

Hey Tyler, no shame in being a lawyer type - I practiced for quite a few years before getting into the music biz!

Lawyers rock!

Well, some do anyway. ;)

Welcome!

You do know that once you pass the Bar Exam and start practicing law, you'll be required to purchase your first Private Stock piece, right?

Quite a nice start you have there in any case!
