Ask me how I know...four years ago I thought I was walking the wild side with my SE Custom 24 (which was just under $1k Cnd) for spending that on a guitar. I got really lucky and my wife loved the color and appearance of the thing. But they do multiply if you spill water on them or feed them after midnight (see photo after only four years)...
And yeah, McCarty's are really suhweeeeet!
And I might as well tell you, there's a resident that will chide you for not picking and adding an avatar if you delay (I don't mean me) much longer.

Oof, you guys were right. This is going to be a problem. I had a whole plan that I was going to get an American Fender as the next guitar in a few years, but now I’m looking at Silver Sky SE comparison vids and thinking, it’s almost too good and too cheap. If I’m honest with myself I think I actually like the Silver Sky SE sound better. I don’t know how I stayed ignorant of PRS for so long. Feels like I figured out a secret that I’m not sure if I want to tell all my friends that play.

Let Them Figure it Out On Their Own. They Will Appreciate It That Way. People Need To Be Shown, Not Told, In Many Cases, So The Cognitive Dissonance Doesn't Take Over.
