Been wanting a Paul's Guitar for a long time and finally pulled the trigger! Love everything about this guitar. A different animal than my 594"s and a complete joy to play.

The next day, my better half asked if she could get a guitar. The obvious answer was Yes! She is now the proud owner of an SE Mira in Frost Blue. The SE models are getting scary good for the money, this does not feel like a 700$ guitar. Already ordered some SE locking tuners for it and have an extra set of 58/15S pickups laying around that we will throw in soon as well. It's a player.

Looks gorgeous in blue! Wow! Also, yeah the SE line has come a LONG way. They were always above average guitars for the price they were at, but the line between them and the US stuff has blurred considerably.

Shockingly good for the price we paid. Finish is flawless. Fret edges are nice and smooth, good setup with low action, and no fret buzz anywhere. Only weak spot might be the pups but that's me splitting hairs.

Yeah, very playable and stable guitars. Truss rods are VERY responsive. My only gripe is the nut material.

Nice, they both look great, congratulations! I’m extra happy to see a Paul’s Guitar, which appears to me to be a somewhat overlooked model, unless it’s one of those fancy Paul’s 85:s.

OP I have an SE Mira that I use as a gigging guitar, I have a USA Made one as well....anyway try working with the tone nob a bit to get better results out if the pups, also the both pups together selection sounds not bad at all....I grabbed the guitar from Daves and I wanted a beater that I wouldnt have to put any money into and by lowering the tone Ive found a way to make em work!
