New guitar day stripped 58

[/URL][/IMG] Got my new stripped 58 today. Boy what a fantastic guitar. I had a Gibson les paul standard for 10 yrs. Over this period I changed the pickups twice for bareknuckle pups and also upgraded the pots and caps, still I thought something was missing. A great looking guitar but the tone wasn't there. I bought a custom 24 earlier this year and was blown away by the playability and the tone. So the les paul had to go. the 58 stripped is its replacement. The guitars are as different as chalk and cheese, the tone is superb.

That is a nice burst! On some guitars the color makes or breaks it for me and the stripped 58 is one....yours is hot.

The two piece bridge is a great design, far better than gibson tunomatic bridge. I have nothing but praise for the guitar. The 57/08 pickups sound superb, far better than the high quality pickup upgrades I installed on my les paul.
