Hi Recently got my first PRS, a 2007
Korina McCarty with Brazilian board. Really loving it, great build quality, sustain, playability etc.
I did have a question regarding the truss rod. The guitar arrived with a totally flat board, no relief. It actually played pretty well like that just had a little buzz around the 8th fret or so. I decided to give it a little relief and turned the rod maybe a quarter turn at most counter clockwise. Which gave me all I needed.
I was surprised with how easily and smoothly the nut turned compared to the many other brands of guitars I've owned. Is this normal for a PRS in general? Just a little worried. The neck looks very nice when sighted down its length. Just hoping I'm not at the limit of its travel.
Thanks much
