Recorded a quick demo play-through of the 408 today.
Excellent guitar! The variation and dynamics of these pickups work really well on a clean to semi-clean amp.
I totally get that this would be a fantastic guitar with the PRS lineup of amps such as the sewells.
The differences are much more negated when going through a more modern hi-gain amp or when using
pedal distortion. They are still there, but to my ears this guitar really excels at that "turn up the gain of the amp and control
all dynamics and level changes from the guitar itself" kinda deal.
Check it out :)

Thanks Richard, will que this up to watch on my TV later today.
Thanks again for taking the time to do these videos.

Thanks Corey :)
I was also about to do a demo on the new Suhr Corso head, but decided to put that on hold until
i take delivery of a new handmade relic custom telecaster from Sonnemo guitars (on facebook if you want to see his work).

So, I think I'm done as far as PRS demos goes for the time being. The only one I'd really like to demo now is the Brent Mason :)

I do have several pedal demos lined up, so we'll see about those first.

I look forward to your review of the Corso, that is on my radar as I am looking for my first tube amp.

p.s. if you ever get your hands on the Bogner Atma, I'd love to hear your thoughts too.

Super-nice demo of the guitar! I love my 408, and my Sig before that.

You're right about the controllability from the guitar itself. I think that's increasingly an important part of what PRS guitars are all about.
