After studying the different pickups on the Custom 24, I like the 85/15 TCI pickups the best. Granted I am basing my opinion on videos using headphones in my listening test. The TCI's add extra top end that I like especially for the single coil modes. The DMO's appear to reduce that top end and provide a more even sound sort of like the 85/15 DM pickups (which were before the TCI). Granted you can boost the treble on your amp or pedal board to get the brightness you want. All in all, not sure how much of a difference this different variances on the pickups.
