Why with the blade switch under the trem arm?
Do mfkers not play these things after designing them?
Oakley Blades, Fer sure.Blades are dumb![]()
Oakley Blades, Fer sure.
But like, it ain’t the switch I got a beef with… it’s just why TF do you gotta keep putting it there?
If they woulda put 408/Siggy switching on them they’d have a real player’s guitar in the Core lineup.
The kids love Oakleys again. I can’t even with them. It’s 408 switching (sort of), I would have preferred Siggy.
I have a set of Oakley Razorblades from back in the late 80’s early 90’s![]()
You're basically getting a 25% savings on a Custom 24 to forgo the maple top.The new Swamp Ash Special looks nice. Love the new satin colours, and especially the NF53 satin.
But HOW is a Standard 24 Satin worth $3500?

Go all the way and lose the headstock overlay and paint them body color.Hoping for a standard 22 stoptail. Black it out too!
Agree on tremolo! I say open pore is amazing. I would say they should go natural back and Neck finish that’s open pore.glad they brought the OG standard back, but not a huge fan of the open pore finish and we have yet another guitar with a trem. Would love a one piece adjustable stoptail.
An SC Standard probably isn't of the question given that the SC 594 looks like it got pulled from the Core line.Even better, a SC Standard Satin Trem. I still regret never getting a 20th Anniversary Satin model when they were available.
Now now.......we can't flood the market with a new supply of D1 pickups. I got me some investments ya know.....Go all the way and lose the headstock overlay and paint them body color.
WIDEFAT NECKS! DRAGON I’s! WINGS!
I want it alllllllll.![]()
Gibson - Les Paul Standard w/50's or 60's neck. What other brand offers more than one? I mean it is, what it is
