Re: re: the treading dangerous water thread. I own a CU24 35th anniversary and am still interested in the new CE’s. Despite having the same switching, in my mind they’re way different. Different woods, all hog versus ash or limba and bolt on maple necks. The 35th style switching, which I think actually debuted on the Signature Limited, is my favorite. And if I trade my other Custom 24 for one I’d have the same switching on all 3 PRS (Brent Mason), which I think is a good thing.

So anyone have a Swamp Ash 24-08? How do you like it?

I got the swamp ash in McCarty tobacco, it was delivered today, and I got about two hours to play it before turning in. I’ve always thought the CE to be PRS’ best guitar as a guy who grew up playing fenders but wishing they had a little more oomph. I have owned a few, but I never liked the aesthetics (flame tops aren’t my thing) and found myself wishing for more switching options beyond the master tone with push/pull. With swamp ash being my favorite wood, and the switching options resolved to my liking, I have finally found the perfect PRS for me!

I’ll post some pics and an amateur review tomorrow.

Order a Black Limba you won't regret it plus the bonus is they're only making 400 worldwide and that's it. That is a very low number for guitars. When they're gone they're gone.!!🌴
