I was able to upgrade my line 6 hd500x with this Headrush pedal board. This should be much easier to use for this upcoming recording project. I will have to run it through its paces later today and see if it really is easier to dial in my tone. Thank goodness for getting gear on credit

I ordered it yesterday from zzounds. FREE shipping and it got here THE NEXT DAY! When does that ever happen?!?!? High marks for them as far as customer service in their credit dept. and rapid shipping.

Fun stuff :D:cool:

Zzounds is awesome and keeps my equipment lust satisfied with reasonable monthly vig plans! Lately, they got me the SE SS in record time! The Vela arrived the day of the price change!

That board looks cool dankat! Looking forward to the review.

I’ve always had good luck with ZZounds, I don’t know why I haven’t used them more. Looks like a flexible controller, which is (IMO) the key to getting the most from a modeler when performing. I look forward to hearing your review of it, once you’ve had some time to get it set up with your rig. Congrats!

So far I have most of what I want dialed in on my basic rig. HOWEVER. . . . .I can't seem to figure out how to adjust vol, treb, and bass on the rig itself if I do NOT have an amp and cab selected.

I have an amp and cab in the signal chain but they are turned off because I am running it into the front of my real amplifier. But if I wanted to run it direct in, then I could engage them and just keep going. The problem is that when they amp and cab sims are turned off, the parameters on the side where you adjust volume and tone don't work. You seen the numbers change but it won't change the actual sound. I don't want to change the global settings as they would change EVERYTHING in ALL of the patches. I know there is a way to do it. I just haven't figured it out yet. But I have my effects chain and settings pretty much dialed in. Just that part is baffling me.

Sorry bro, don’t know the answer.

Hopefully someone comes in soon with a reply.

Oh no, I already sent out the bat signal. Now @11top will have be caped up and in the batmobile, then there will be no crime to solve. Somebody call Alfred and see if he can stop him before he leaves the bat cave.

Still one more issue that I can't seem to find ..... when a note is struck with very light picking, the sustain, at a certain point of decay, suddenly cuts off. I am pretty sure it is a setting that may help to control noise or soemthing. I turned off all of the effects and the amp and cab sims, but i still get it. I gotta go looking it up to see what setting that is.

Did I mention I am not always a fan of learning new technology?

That’s why I’m a fan of tube amp and the odd pedal. Call me Neanderthal Man.
