I decided it's a lot less work on my 68 year old back to just get a Bass DI for open mike .. so after a lot of research I decided on this lil gem. 2 channels ( clean and boost) with seperate DI's , 3 cab sims . 2 inputs to .. Lots of flexibility for a reasonable investment.

They get good reviews. I haven't tried the guitar version in person but have talked to a couple guys at TGP who use them

The guitar version kind of reminds me of the Sans Amp, the way it breaks up.

It arrived today , in time for tonights Open Mike ! Yeah . Sound great , vey low noise . The cab sim resonance control is great , the EQ while minimal works well , plenty of gain and grind. The only oddity to me is they didn't include a power supply , and no battery option , luckily I have a few spares.

Well the DI had it's maiden voyage tonight at the Open Mike . I let another bassist use it with a bass I built , he was blown ..me too . VERY realistic tones.
