New amp ordered, sorry, it's not a PRS .... Hides!
I've ordered a new amp, finally !
After a month's research, I've placed a deposit and put my name down as there is a waiting list. Order placed for a Bogner Atma 18w, 3 channel amp.
I've looked into the Mesa TA15, the Engater Tweaker 15 & 40, the Blackstar HT-5R, the HT-1R, the Marshall 1W amps, the Marshall DSL15, the Slash signature, the Mesa Min Rec, the Express 5:25, 5:50, the Laney Lionheart, the Ironheart, Orange Tiny Terror, Dual Terror, Thunder TH30, PRS Sweet 16, SE 50 and more. I even have a spreadsheet made listing all of them to keep track.
Almost all of them were good, but none of them had everything. The 1W thing seems weird but I really wanted it because of where I live. I also wanted a head and cab combination. A small matching 1x12 speaker be a bonus too. An amp for home with nice cleans and plenty of headroom (in an home environment), 2 channels, foot switch, FX loop and something compact in size. Basically I was quite specific in my quest and I can say I have finally found one, without going the cost of custom made (not that it won't be cool but it would drive the costs upwards)
