I had one. I loved it, but at age 72 it’s too heavy for an old man to carry up and down stairs. It got sold and I miss the tones.

At 85 pounds, my Mesa Lone Star combo is the Immovable Object.

Happens to me all the time brother. Just last week we had one of those 5 year bumps and, not remembering the thead (since many topics are duplicated) I liked at least 5 posts... then got to my own! LOL Realized what I'd done and undid the like, just so I didn't get a bunch more people looking at the old thread just because of all the new "likes." Sometimes I leave them though. Depends on if the thread actually takes on a new life or just dies back off.

Larry, while an excellent bassist, was not learning the set list. In the beginning, he said he loved the music, would practice on his own time, but turned into a " We should play my favorite funk songs-I want to be in charge-It doesn't go like that-You guys play it wrong-I don't like your guitar sound- Lead singer do it like this".
After hearing the key board player finally sick of the bs calling him out,Larry grabbed his stuff and said,"You don't respect me. I'm done."
I was glad to see him go.

We had an audition for a great drummer who fit in perfectly. He announced he was in 2 other bands and wanted to gig Thursday-Saturday every week.
We are good with once a month.
He never came back.

The new drummer? Good but not good enough.
The singer knows a drummer and bassist he prefers.

Me?

I am devoting my time to my Freshwater Surf Music trio.

Sorry for going sideways regarding the H amp.
I just bought a new speaker cable for mine.
I'm planning on using it in conjunction with my Deluxe Reverb to get a wider sound scape.

Thanks for the update. This is actually a fun saga. I was the lights and sound side of things for a few years when I was supposed to be going to college. I like the stories.
