    It's our own fault. Scientists have been warning us about this for several decades. Climate change is real. The good news is, the earth has processes in place to correct itself and can do so when the cause(s) are decreased or removed.

    Yep. Big fires in Canada, too. Probably more responsible for the midwest haze.

    In my corner of Canada, we got a reprieve from smoke mid afternoon. The jet stream shifted so we got some cold air. The front went by while I was mowing and the temperature dropped from 30C to 17C.

    Between the Ash bores, the LDD caterpillars eating every leaf on trees, and the fires, nature seems to be conspiring to kill our natural CO2 converters. As if we hadn’t already gotten rid of enough forest.
