Need Some Advice on PUPs

Have a signature Tremonti which is an amazing guitar. I am thinking about taking out the stock PUPs and putting in a set of Doug Aldrich Suhrs. I have one in an SE tremonti and it is scary.

Any thoughts one way or the other? Doug plays a LP which I would never own, but the Tremonti signature is very close to the thickness of the wood, etc. I assume it would kick a**

PS: And yes I am at the point where I dont need any new guitars, but updating and modifying the ones I have makes more sense lol
