I have a PRS I bought years ago and am thinking of selling but can't find the warranty card or anything. I bought it through Musician's Friend around 2008. The serial number is 7ce32490 so I'm pretty sure it's a CE 24 made in 2007. It has dot inlays instead of birds. Any more information is greatly appreciated; Thanks in advance!

Best bet is to look on eBay and Reverb. On this site, we tend to not try to value guitars because there are so many subjective judgements that go into valuing an individual guitar. Conditions, regional supply, surprise factors and sheer luck often dictate what a piece will sell for. OMG. I am PRS politically correct!

Great example. I have a 2007 CE 22 with a so-so top on average light but in sunlight and with a flick of the wrist and a view of the naked binding, it becomes a killer guitar. I pulled the pickups on the last cleaning and the pre-mod cat nomenclature showed this was initially going to be a solid color and when it got to the spray booth, the color was over-ridden to cherry sunburst. Sprayers choice. The marks are clear as day but most people would have no ability to value that change. it is cool that I was able to see what happened but probably does not add serious value here.

Best view is to look on beau because the guitars of today and not spec'ed as they were in 2007 and also pricing varies widely.

If you know the serial number, you can contact PRS customer service via email & they can give you more specifics. I did this a few years ago myself when I wanted to insure my guitars & they were helpful.

@Dusty Chalk's proposal is the best. If the guitar is a production line instrument you will get sufficient info by checking the MODCAT.
If you have difficulties, don't be coy and copy the row of letters and numbers into the thread to get help.
