Need help! PRS Tremonti signature I

Hi guys,
I need your expertise!
I've just found a good deal on a Tremonti I model, the all black one, with the MARK TREMONTI inlay on the 12th fret. But I'm concerned that it could be fake, or at least not all original.
The first thing that concern me is, is it possible that a model I was built in 2007? Wasn't the model 2 already out?
Last thing, someone can show me a photo of the tuning machine of this guitar? Is it normal that they say "PRS" on the back like the SE?

The tuners look like these!

They have a covered back like the SE, not like the uncovered ones you showed me.

The guy put offline his ad after I said him that I was interested.

From the picture that I've seen it's an actual PRS Tremonti I

But I've got that two question. I cannot remember in what year the Tremonti 2 model came out... and I'm not completely sure that in 2007 they were still making the original model...

The Phase II tuners do say PRS on the back. Here is the back of the headstock on my '-08 Mira, with the same tuners:

I saw the guitar and it looks awesome but I was not sure about the tuners, now I am... Thank you sir!
My only other question is if it was still in production in 2007... The model 2 when was released?

I just noticed on the PRS Schematics page (http://www.prsguitars.com/csc/schematics.html) they list two for the Tremonti. The first is the 2012 wiring schematic (http://www.prsguitars.com/csc/schematics/2012/tremonti_2012.pdf) and the second says SC pre-2007 on the actual PDF (http://www.prsguitars.com/csc/schematics/schem08/singlecut.pdf). If that is when changes were made, I can definitely image there were hold overs in the production line during 2007.

Of course, I am presuming an awful lot, as I have zero actual knowledge of the change!

Is the guitar in a store or online? Can you get the serial number? That would help a lot.
