I just sold my silver sky and am looking for a guitar that will do the wide open vintage paf sound and not sound muddy. Any suggestions.

Any PRS with vintage PAF-style pickups. Don't forget about the amp/cab/speaker, they're a huge tone difference-maker. I also agree with Birdsofprey, the CU24s are a very good choice for open tones as well, if you find one with recent pickups.

Play a bunch and see. You won't really know what floats your boat until you do.

PAFs and me don't get along always sound kinda flat and muddy with my playing , I like the McCarty pickups I put in my CU22 and the Miras I put in my SCT. I did like the 59/09s I tried in a 594 better than the 58/15LTs , the 58/15 MT pickups in my Special Semi Hollow sound fantastic

The 594 or Mccarty shall both serve your needs. Depends on which scale length (594 is 25.594 aka Vintage Les Paul, McCarty is 25 i.e. regular PRS) you prefer, layout (594 is Les Paul like, the McCarty is just a regular master vol and tone with 3 way and splits). Also the 594 gives the option of a Singlecut shape.
If you want to go left field and want a particularly clear humbucker sound, try the Paul's guitar
