I have a beautiful CU24 wood library 10 top with regular neck from 2017 in dark charry for sale or trade. No fancy woods, just maple, mahogany and rosewood.

It’s a great guitar amd plays like a dream but I don’t like the inside positions of the switch amd never really use it.

Excellent conditions, just a couple of small impressions in the wood.

I put it up for sale a few months ago but so far no good offers.

A guy just offered me a 2023 core DGT. I am very curious about the model to be honest. Top is nice albeit not a 10 top. Charcoal, which I like. Seems in mint condition.

If I take the trade I have a hard time determining how much cash the other guy should put on top of it. Suggestions?

I dont know USA values, but given the popularity of the DGT, the market as it is, and the fact it is just a "regular spec" CU24, with a very nice 10 top, I would not consider this an very uneven trade?

The DGT is an amazing guitar. I have a Woods Library version with a Brazilian fretboard....love it. Love the neck. Love the frets. Love the 11s on this guitar.

Somewhere Between A Grand And 500 Would Be My Quick Guess.

I’d say the value is similar. Yes, yours may be a 10-top, but that doesn’t add a lot of value in my mind. DGTs are arguably more in demand. None of that really matters, though.

Trades are ultimately either about convenience or, in the best circumstances, about really wanting what the other person has. If it’s not about either of those for you, don’t do a trade. Just sell the guitar and get whatever it is you want.
