Need advice on a pickup pairing (58/15TM or 57/08)

OK, I have some pickup sets sitting around and I'm trying to decide on a pairing. Right now, I'm leaning towards either a 58/15TM bridge with a 57/08 neck or the 57/08 set. That said, I already have a 57/08 bridge in my Swamp Ash Studio, so I kind of want something different with this set.

Would the 58/15TM be a good pairing with the 57/08 neck?

I migh be wrong, but I think the balance (output) could be a mismatch. The 57/08 set is a little hotter than the 58/15 iirc

My 57/08 neck is 7.63K and my 58/15TM bridge is 8.29K. It's not the low turn version.

An unetched 57/08 set I guess? Those could be a lot lower output than the newer ones. I assumed you had a a later set, and those are hotter. You should be fine with those two combined

It's actually an etched 57/08, so I'm guessing it's an oddball with lower winding or was maybe a transition build.

Agree 5708 and swamp ash is pure bliss. Yes, 5708 and 5815TM will pair nicely together. I'm a huge fan of the LTs mixed with 5708 or 5909. My favorite combos.
