The 30th Dragon has a lot of CU24 "Throwback" features that have been improved upon (slightly tweaked). Here is my take on this Guitar:
The Guitar has an old school "regular" Neck carve. This carve is basically a Santana thickness & 1/32" narrower than a W/F or W/T Neck. I am not overly particular on Neck carves myself.
It does have a Sweet Switch. However, The Sweet Switch is in the form of a push/pull on the tone control. I like this better as it is less clutter on the front of the Guitar. I am a big fan on the SS option & this one does not disappoint. I do think the SS is much more pronounced on Mahogany Guitar though.
The 85/15 P-ups are noticeably tamer than the old T&B P-ups. This is a big plus in my book. I suppose it may not be the case for a metal head, but that is purely speculation on my part.
I spent a couple of hrs playing it through a Bogner Shiva & was quite happy with the sound. Very clean with the volume rolled back to about 6. Break-up starting at about 8 on the volume.
