I understand the NAMM show has been cancelled for 2021 as expected. Anyone have an idea how how next year's products will be revealed?

PRS has, for the last few years, been steadily announcing products online "around" NAMM time, rather than blasting them all out right on the weekend of. So they'll probably do the same this year.

Which, honestly, is much easier to digest. I like having a nice product demo from the mothership, rather than a crappy NAMM demo with a million people wanking on guitar in the background.

For once, this is relatively good news that will require builders to step up and try to advertise their wares online...perhaps some enterprising young entrepreneur could assemble some video clips onto one website and host a virtual NAMM?

Always looking forward to Bryan Ewald's demos.

Am intrigued. What can you tell us about the pickups? Are they noise-cancelling (read: no 60Hz hum on the individual pickups) ? You can't hear any in the video. Was wondering if this was a proprietary feature or not...?

LOL. Trying to say with NAMM physically cancelled, it might be a good move if an enterprising entrepreneur put together a YT channel of various builders hawking their wares together online...a collection of videos, if you will...
NAMM as an organization should do that if they want to continue the mission of connecting the retailers to the manufacturers. Every year I go to the NAMM website for updates thinking they will have a better interface, but they don’t. I don’t consider NAMM to be cutting edge at all. Maybe this will be the motivation for the organization to take a leap forward in their functions.

So, a "Video Namm" of sorts. I'd give that idea a thumbs up

Exactly. PRS with Bryan Ewald already showcases PRS guitars, why wouldn't other builders also create videos of their offerings, and one group overseeing NAMM could effectively place as many videos together they felt best represented each builders' offerings for 2021.

Each builder would likely be given only a couple minutes per video in order to restrict the bandwidth of the video collective channel, but with just enough time for each video to showcase each offering's key features and qualities.

I imagine they'd haul in a truckload of buyers with this strategy. People wishing to legally purchase goods and services. What could go wrong, other than the usual flirtation with what we already love and enjoy every time we visit retailers' websites with their videos?
