When Mayer teamed up with Paul in 2015, it was my introduction to PRS and changed my world.
So…I’d love to see these guys take a PRS as there staple axe.

Billy Strings
Marcus King
Derek Trucks
Warren Haynes…I know, there is some history here
Trey Anastasio….yeah, never would happen.

Who are your 5?

Thanks for the correction on Gilmour. I have updated above. I know Steve Vai has a PRS acoustic he loves, but I would not say he has "converted" to PRS!
Steve Vai won't convert. Jem (and whole RG series that followed) is his creation. He is literally a Les Paul of Ibanez.

Sry to be a ******** with correcting you, buddy

I’m always more curious about what big names choose to play in private, rather than what they play in public. Not that it would influence my choices—I’m in a different universe of skill, experience, means, and preference from them.

I’m weird, I guess, but I like that other people play other instrument brands, and are identified with them. As much as I love my PRSi, I hope music always has that variety.

Not to rain on the exercise, I’ll say EVH, Jimi, Danny Gatton, Randy Rhoads, and Duane Allman. This way we can have them all back.
