Naive/New to PRS - So a question

Hello - this is my first post here.
I am relatively new to the electric guitar world... having been mostly an acoustic player for many years.
I'm trying to decide which model PRS to consider - so, since I am not familiar with the model designations, thought I'd put the question out to the forum.

I'm looking for a PRS electric at about the $1000 - $1500 price range... prefer a "used" instrument as bigger bang for the buck.
I mostly like clean tones - no distortion - at most a bit of overdrive on occasion.
I have really liked taylor solidbody electric guitars in the past.
I have also liked gibson studios in the past... as I like the thicker, yet clean, tones you can get from them - as opposed to the thinner sound of a strat....
I like a thinner profile neck.
(and I love reverb, chorus, and delay type modulations..... ) :biggrin:

Since I have no idea where to start - does anyone know of a PRS model that might approximate this description? (There are none around to try out).

Used $1000 - $1500 with good cleans....CE24.

Or used SAS...can find them around 14-1500. Swampies are great clean or dirty!!

Custom 22 and 24's Can be had all day long at the upper end of your price range if mint isn't a necessity.

Just last week I was looking for something in the same price range and ended up with a 1990 CE24. There are plenty out there on the used market that are in decent shape. I don't think it's possible to be disappointed with it. The CU24's were at the plus side of the price range and were definitely in consideration. Ultimately it came down to color for me...that and saving a few hundred bucks.

How would you describe the neck shape on these models that you've suggested, such as the CE 24?
