Ryan demos a new wireless setup.
I have two Line 6 G 50s I am very happy with for home use, and a cheap Audio Technica ATW-R250 I use at work.
The latter I like to crank up the amp at work very loud, and walk out into the hall to see how far away it will work.

What is a SPDIF?

A very standard digital output. A bunch of people are using profiling/modelling these days, and with a wireless. So there's a heap of A/D/A converting that happens, A/D at the wireless pack/transmitter, D/A at the wireless receiver, then A/D/A at the profiler/modeller.

A digital output from the wireless would cut out a couple of the conversions, saving on lag.
