Been thinking of a Fender DRRI for a while. Came across this FSR today dressed in ‘chilewich chalk’ with a Creamback and finally pulled the trigger (20% discount didn’t hurt, either!). I think John Mayer was right, the SS definitely plays nice with Fender amps. Full, beautiful cleans which is what I was after. I think, for my preference, the Creamback definitely evens the tone out, I never fully enjoyed the normal Jensen they come with.

Congratulations! You just can’t go wrong with a good Deluxe Reverb! Definitely a nice looking one there. And the coiled cord... the finishing touch.

I just looked this up and feel like I also need one of these lol. Maybe a Princeton will be next, or a vintage Champ.
