I just picked up a Custom 50 amp today. So far it has been fun working it out. Now I just need to get me a new PRS Guitar. I'm trying to decide whether to get a Tremonti or a DGT. Any thoughts on that topic?

Thanks,

Kevin

Both are great, depends what your musical style is.

I have a custom 50 and a dgt for me best combination I've ever had. Both instruments compliment each other perfectly on every style of music I dive into.but you can't go wrong in which ever prs you decide on both guitars you mentioned will do the job in spades.

I'm leaning towards the DGT. I have the luxury of living in Austin, TX where David Grissom hangs out. I play mostly rock. My favorite band is Rush. So I wasn't exactly sure which way to go, I play a Fender American Vintage 65 Strat right now. I have owned 2 PRS guitars in the past. Both Custom 22's.

I don't want to sway you but I think that's the better choice the DGT is more versatile, before you make a move try the 408 outstanding my next guitar.

Good advice. I will try to find a 408 to try here in Austin. Does anybody have any history with Wildwood Guitars in Colorado?

I live a couple miles from Wildwood. They are a great shop, with a very knowledgeable staff. If you are buying outright, they are great with great prices. If you are looking to trade, they are a little stiff (if they are even interested in what you have to offer). I've made several purchases from them, but have yet to successfully trade anything. It's just not their bag.

If you are looking at 408s, I'd suggest looking at Paul's guitar, too. I found the Paul's to be a little more aggressive sounding--a little more in your face than the 408. Both are really amazing, though.
