Recently my buddy gave me a Marshall JTM45 Clone that needed some work on the cabinet and the Tolex
I got that straightened out and had been looking for a cab to go with it
enter my guitar teacher who had an old beat up Marshall JCM 900 4x12 cab with 4 fairly new Vintage 30s in it

I got them hooked up today and WOW!
the Amp really loved the Pearly Gates in my Singlecut
This is gonna be a lot of fun to play with

Don't laugh at the cab. There's a lot of Rock N Roll History on it
I can always recover it later on this winter

No cab shaming here, brother! How do you like the V30's with that amp? Not a typical match, but could be really good.
They sound good to me
Nice bass with strong highs but not ice pick highs
I haven't played it with the 85/15's yet
I will but it will have to wait
My Strat still likes the Fender Blues Jr the best but its been dialed in the longest that way

Often Times, The Less Tolex The Better The Sound. If You Ever Do Decide To Re-Tolex The Cab, Make Sure You Strip The Tolex Off And Play It With No Tolex For A While Just To Make Sure You Really Want To Do It. My Guess Is On Sound Alone, You Won't Tolex The Cab. On Looks Alone, You Very Well May Tolex The Cab. :)

I Think It Looks Great As Is!

The wore out look has grown on me
When I think about the history behind that cab, it looks better all the time
