Writing from the dog house 🤣

I picked up a new amp today
New to me anyway
2011 Fender Super Sonic Twin - Blonde
I played my Cu24 through it and it was amazing
been on my mind for several days now and today I couldnt stand it any longer
So I went and struck a deal

25w/100w
Twin Reverb channel & Bassman Channel
2x12 V30s

I miss my Twin. I don’t miss lugging it around. I would have loved the low wattage option.

I have a Supersonic 22 (22W), and I had the original Supersonic (with the Star Trek logo LOL), it was 60W. That thing was so fracking loud I could only use it on outdoor stages! If you bumped the volume controls you went from bar to Madison Square Garden!

But I think the SS series amps are highly underrated, and some of the best-sounding, versatile amps Fender currently makes. The clean channels are fantastic, and the lead channels are quite good. My SS22 could never replace my Hot Cat, but it's a great amp and it's the one I use for all band rehearsals and gigs (I just don't want to haul the Hot Cat around and have it get beaten up).
