It had Clear/Black Knobs as shown above, but I quickly changed them to Amber, I prefer Amber Knobs with the Private Stock "Antique Natural" Backs.

Killer guitar! Black Limba Body, Korina Neck, spectacular one-piece Quilt top, Ebony Board and Headstock Veneer, Gold MOP Old Birds with MOP Outlines. This thing is like something I would spec!

Tone report to follow, over on the 594 thread. Early impression here is that it plays and sounds terrific! It feels great, like a 594! Just something magical to me with this scale length...

My only complaint is that when I look at it I remember that Tosca beat me to the punch by like 5 minutes for the Dragon's Breath Glow one - that would have been a heck of a DOUBLE N5D!!

:)

Most excellent as usual! I feel like I can go swimming in that top.

Black pick up rings and put the clear lampshades back on and this is a contender for the best 594 you have purchased so far.

Whoa - that's a stunner! Congrats!

No holds barred, winner takes all grudge match, next Experience! Two men walk in, one man walks out with his hands full of PS 594s!!!!

I'd imagine that wood combo with those pickups sounds lovely! Second the knob change being a good call, the amber knobs go way better with that finish, IMHO! ;)

This thing is beautiful. The color reminds me of that glacier blue PS color. I love everything about this beauty. Would love to hear the difference between 594 PS with and without Trem.

I went back and forth a number of times on the knob pictures and I am torn. The clear ones blend in and become one with the top and have a "new and shiny" thing going. The amber ones "complement" the top with a more "vintage" thing going....

Here's the fun part - I will play it tomorrow!!! bahahahahahahaha
