Got this yesterday, pretty happy with it so far.

It's a 2016, so it still has the HFS/Vintage Bass pups. I think the neck pup is a little "quacky" (for lack of better terms), might consider the magnet swap like I've seen suggested in another thread. Anyone have experience switching the HFS to an Alnico IV? (been inspired by demos of the SD Saturday Night Special).

Well, the assumption about the pickups was wrong. It has 85/15S pickups, not VB/HFS.

Still want to try the magnet swap. I just got a pair of Alnico 2 and Alnico 4 magnets. Probably try the 2s first in both pups.

Yes, I just got it a few weeks ago. The seller actually also thought it had VB/HFS pups, not sure whether he just responded "yes" to my question on that to not rock the boat
