I just finished playing through a bit of stuff on my new-to-me 305 (using a Roland Micro Cube). It's a 2011, and seems to have a Wide Fat neck, based on feel (I believe the specs say that too.)

Feels very nice, the neck has that "naked" feeling, and the birds are a variety I do not have on any other PRSi - are these what some folks call "dirty birds" (black outline in this case)?

Can't wait to play it through my bigger amps at home...

Here are some quick shots taken at the office. I'll need to schedule an outdoor photoshoot, perhaps on the weekend.

Oh yeah, not sure if the seller wants to be mentioned specifically, but they are a fellow forum member.

LOVE THAT - birds, maple and a really cool chunk o body wood. That is a winner and a half!

Yeah, the alder is quite interesting looking, to me at least - it has those streaks that shimmer a little in the light, like the flames on figured maple. Some might call them imperfections, but I like 'em!

OK, managed to squeeze in a few shots while the sun was up! The sunshine really brings out the red in the "McCarty Burst" or whatever that is called.

btw, where do I find the MODCAT on a 305? Still under a pickup? The cavities are smaller than the usual humbuckers...

Thanks everyone!

I played last night for about 45 min, just playing through my little Roland Micro Cube in the pool lanai area while having a beer, a with a good amount of delay and a slightly gritty sound with the volume rolled off a touch, but a more growly sound at full volume.

The trem bar pretty well never left my hand - it was so natural to add that slight analog tape warble to my playing. I think that was the most constant use of a trem on a PRS I have ever experienced. A few dive bomb moments too (I love doing the intro to Sorrow by Pink Floyd).

Oh, and I hardly touched my beer until I was done playing. That does not happen often...

This guitar is a keeper, feels so good in my hands!
