Completely unplanned. However, I’d been thinking of moving one of my 594s to get something else. Love the 594, but I’m a bit heavy in that world. Then I see this 2017 CU22 WL, with McCarty wiring, 57/08 in the neck, 85/15 in the bridge, with a rosewood neck, pop up. I’d been itching for a RW neck. And this is just about the ideal CU22 config for me. Only a hard tail would make it perfect. So now I have this, and Reverb has a pretty killer blue 594 to compete with the others.
