Mystery Screw!

First post here so please be gentle.

I have a Johnny Hiland model and I noticed a rattle from the electrics bay. So I opened it up and a small screw fell out. I can't see where it goes or whether it even belongs on the guitar. It may have falling in the pickup cavity and worked it's way through. Does anyone recognise this as part of a PRS.

I've never seen a screw like this used by PRS. It looks like a foot to a table leg. Have you owned the guitar since new?

No, I bought it pre-owned and the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that it's a foreign invader that sneaked in while I had the bridge pickup out. A friend has suggested that it may be part of a tool used in assembly as he has had a similar experience.
