My ZM Shipped Today

Did not want to add more to the other two ZM threads, and I will make a NGD thread hopefully next Saturday.
I was out for a walk around our lakes at work when my phone rang, and I had a feeling it was my dealer.
Yep, it was.
My ZM was in setup yesterday, and today it went out.
UPS should be dropping it off at his place by next Thursday or Friday, and he will need it for one day to Put the Gotoh Vintage locking tuners on it, new EB Cobalts in 9 - 42, and then do a whole setup on it.

I was going to go with the TonePro Kluson lockers, but they are too hard to find, only EBay has them, and he said TonePros said they are kind of hard to get.
Plus the headstock would have to be reamed for the shaft, and PRS told him it will sound better with the Gotohs by using the stock hole and not enlarging it.

So hopefully I will have a new thread by next weekend.
Really looking forward to this new guitar.

I am about as excited getting this as I was getting my 408 last year.
All of my SEs play great and get used a lot right along with the more expensive 408.

Jon, I have an email into my dealer to find out the exact ones they are putting on my guitar when it arrives.
As far as I know it is a direct fit, but if any modding is required, I will be sure to post up in my NGD thread when I pick it up.

Looks like mine are not the Gotoh's, but similar.

I have fallen back in love with my 2012 SE Santana.
It was my first PRS, but I was not a big fan of the 24.5" scale and wide/fat neck.
I prefer the 25" scale and a wide/thin pattern/thin neck like I have on all of my other SEs and the 408.

Been playing the heck out of the Santana this weekend to get used to that scale length and wide/fat neck, and I am getting use to it since the ZM will have the same specs.

I have to admit, the scale length and single color option are the only two things keeping me from being gaga over this guitar. Most SEs have color options, even the sig models tend to come in multiple colors after a year or two, especially if they sell well, which this one seems to be doing just fine. So, I will wait. I might be able to get past the scale length issue if I could get one in black or black top or gold top or white, or McCarty burst.

Hahahahahaha, I even commented in the thread. Classic, my brain. I probably forgot intentionally so I wouldn't feel so broke having bought a Lowery and some 59/09s recently.
