I use one of these on each wrist every night. I switch out during the day for an elastic wristband and adjustable velcro strap which pretty much allows for full motion, but keeps the tingling in my hands to a minimum. I've found that full lock-down over night allows for enough full rest in the joint and ligaments, etc. to buy another day's worth of activity.
Sometimes there's just no relief when doing things, but it's all been useful in avoiding any invasive surgeries so far. Whatever route you choose, good luck! I fully understand the frustration connected to this nonsense.
