Did it, love it. The braided wire is such a godsend for clean grounding. My only regret is that I have the neck split on pull, full neck HB on push. I like it that pickup much better on split; cuts and funks like a boss. I should do the split neck as default and pull it for full HB. The split has no 330pF cap from hot to ground as I forgot to order them from mouser, and I can't find my ceramic caps box (just mover not long ago), but I put the socket on the push-push and can add it at any time. Not sure if I will. The basic split on Ms is THE ****. The Ms split better than ANY other pickup I ever tried in my life. Not using Ms for the full sized HB 24-08 was a missed opportunity.
Edit: I have also added the Kinman style treble bleed. I have tuned the values to my liking; 680pF for the bleed cap, and 270k (exactly in the middle of my vol pot value, measured on 540k), they are wired in series. It's noticeable improvement
