My son Quentin turned 10 this week!!!!! He got a new bike as he has outgrown his old one so now we can ride!!!

I have turned him on to Underdog, Popeye and Johnny Quest.

I can't get enough of that boy.

Wonderful...might I also recommend the Banana Splits, The Monkees (TV show), Land of the Giants TV show, and a first run Santana SE, which can be found for about 250.00, and the chicks will NEVER leave him alone!!! (OK, I may be pushing a little bit)

Kids are the best! It's fun to watch them grow and accomplish things!

My son recently turned 14 and those times go by too fast.

Got to see that I passed something on to him that I didn't really know about. We were driving listening to my 5 disc mp3 assortment, which covers a wide range of music. "Bad Leroy Brown" came on, after some Iron Maiden, and he commented how much he liked that song.

When I explained who Jim Croce was and listed some of his other songs I found out he likes a lot of his music. This from a kid who loves Avenged Sevenfold. I didn't know he was that diverse.

Despite our best efforts, neither of our children has the love of music of their parents, especially mine. Still, their observations have astounded me at times.

When my son was 7 or 8, he walked into the living room while I was listening to the audio of Frank Zappa playing "Peaches En Regalia" on SNL all those years ago. He stopped for a second, then said, "That sounds like Frank Zappa, only with more guitar."
