Quick iPhone pics since I hear all of you like pictures :)

I wan to thank James, Sean and Ted at The Guitar Store in Seattle. They’ve put up with my nonsense for years about what a custom build would look like and were a key part of the success of this build. They really helped me quite a bit in determining which specs to go with. James, Sean and Tina did a superb job picking out the woods for me and answering my questions over the phone on wood selection day. Then, later in the process I had what could only be described as a panic attack over the back wood - African hog or South American hog? Everyone was patient while I worked through this :) I’d be remiss not to mention James Fox, our PRS rep up here in the PNW - very nice guy and helped keep all of us on the same page!

These pics don’t do this beauty justice. Totally nailed that tropical Hapuna Beach color I was going for, really 3D on the woods and of the 7 different Pattern Vintage neck carves I’ve owned at one point, this is the best of the bunch! Totally made it under my 8lbs or less weight requirement do to my bad back, in at 7lbs, 11oz, not easy with the P245 body thickness.

Enjoy the pics while I go play! :D

Ha! I realized after I posted that I didn’t take any back pics. The Braz is dark chocolate and they did a great job matching the grain on the back plates.

The clarity on this one is amazing, close to Miss Pernie. The trem felt stiff then I saw they have 5 springs on it, when I’m used to 2-3. (EDIT - apparently 4 springs) The 245 scale length with the PV neck is awesome. Love mixing in the piezo on clean and dirty sounds for some extra subtle color. The 59/09s really work well tone wise in these SC bodies with RW necks for me. Some nice sweet top end on this SC for sure!

Beautiful! I noticed you made sure to capture the birds. That paua is full of powah!
I had those inlays on the Bahama Mama Mk II SCT I foolishly sold. Made sure to get those on this one (since they won’t let me do Celtic knots :)). Blue paua of course!
