My first PS build initially due in April finally showed up at the dealer (thank you Dragon 35th) and I'm stoked with how it turned out.

It was spec'd summer 2019 shortly after selling my Graveyard II.
Loved the design of the GY2 but the top on mine was very underwhelming, and the idea of getting a one off for less with a few tweaks (neck shape, ss frets) grew on me.

Around the time the Graveyard II was released a 'Bats in flight + Nosferatu" inlay 594 showed up at Bizarre Guitars. Loves the fingerboard inlay, but wasn't sold on the Nosferatu headstock inlay that was floating around weirdly (to me) compared to some other custom inlays like Bird of a feather, and Walking zombies. The pricing for a custom headstock inlay being 'reasonable' enough (same as using SS frets), I ended up going that route.

And so here we are: a Graveyard II-look alike (as close as PRS would allow at the time) with custom headstock inlay, semi-hollow construction, SS frets, and Pattern Regular.

A big shout out to Bret the owner of @MooreGuitars for making this possible, and an even bigger one to Rob who has been stuck and bearing with me ever since.
    I can't recommend them enough.
I don't know if everyone is like me but when you spec something as expensive as this, you sometimes have 'panic attacks' wondering if the spec sheet and wording is going to be misinterpreted when they apply the finish/etc.

Right, you're wondering where the pictures are.
A few from the Vault, and then the dealer pictures I got this morning.

Forgot which of the two neck blanks I picked, but they were equally curly:

Paul unexpectedly showed up once we were done choosing woods, I remember him joking the woods weren't curly enough:

And here we are 15-16 months later:

That’s ebony and curly maple. In this case I think it’s ebony board with curly maple laser cut and inlaid into it. It’s not PRS doing it, there’s a company specialized into this

    Thanks !

Believe it or not it took me forever to settle on that top
It was the most chatoyant of all by far, but not the curl orientation I was necessarily aiming for.
Ideally I wanted a reverse chevron orientation with more irregular curls, there was one top that fit the bill but it was nowhere as chatoyant or as strongly figured.
It was also a bit darker which concerned me as the red glow could have ended up darker and not as vivid.

In the end I'm very happy with that top.

It’s too frightening. I wouldn’t be able to play open chords for fear of evilness!
