I own more than a few PRS guitars. My preference is a CU24 with a Pattern Regular neck.
A few months ago I bought a P22. Complemented my CU24s really well. I liked the thicker body, the piezo and I really liked the 53/10s. The pickups are really versatile, cleans are great and they split well. I use the neck pickup a lot. It seems that I have been playing it more and more with a CU24 as a backup instead of my usual two CU24s. But I hadn't really used the piezo, just plugged into my main board into an amp. Sounded great.
For fun, I just put together a mini-rig (kind of two) that I have been experimenting with the P22. Although I haven't taken my new mini rig out live, yet, I tried it out jamming with some friends tonight going straight to PA and a small wedge I have. It was awesome with the P22. So much fun switching between the piezo and the pickups and blending the two. Silly I know, but it made me chuckle a few times tonight how good it sounded and how much ground it covered with such a simple little rig.
Here's a few pics trying different setups before I left. I ended up using the mini board with the two pre-amps for most of the night.
