My new found love for McCarty Pickups.

As you may have heard, I scored an awesome McCarty Trem. After finally picking it up from FedEx yesterday, I haven't been able to put it down. The main thing that allured me to it is the thicker body with it's someone rare status a close second. What threw me off guard was how awesome the stock McCarty pickups sound. I've had PAF type pickups before and my recent set from BGPickups really set the bar for me. These passed that bar. There's something special about the mid range and the low end spectrum. Sounds like the "golden-age" of guitars through my Pro Reverb. Anyway, just thought I'd let you know how much i love the pickups (and the guitar too for that matter).

Ya, i played with a couple different bridge pups in my mccarty ended up putting stock pups back in. Its like a LP that stays in tune!
