My Metal McCarty

Just sharing a photo of my new S2 McCarty 594 Singlecut in Faded Blue Smoke Burst.

I have two Core 594's, a Singlecut and Double Cut. Both are great guitars but I wanted something built for modern metal, and I didn't want to start messing with the perfection that are my Cores. So I picked this up, threw some Bareknuckle Silo humbuckers in, replaced the volume pots with the Core versions with caps, set it up for Drop C# with NYXL 11-56 strings, it absolutely rips.

So far they are great, still learning about everything they can do but they seem super versatile.

I have a BK Silo bridge humbucker in a Chapman ML3-Bea signature guitar and it is awesome. I also have a PRS CE-24 satin blackout with BK True Grit humbuckers. Also great pickups. I love with the high end bare knuckles you can have them custom built with the look you want.

In short, it's amazing. It chugs, power chords are crushing, but the pickups are super versatile, cleans are great and does ambient stuff really well.

I like the Silos so much I keep inventing new guitar ideas so I have another guitar to throw some in, like maybe a stop tail CU22.
