My MCcarty's first gig.

Been a Les Paul/Strat player for 30 plus years. Love those instruments. They have, and still do serve me well. Have always admired and lusted after the beautifully crafted guitars made by Paul Reed Smith. But the price tags kept me from owning one. Recently purchased a 2005 McCarty for a price I could afford. Where has this ax been all my life? Look at it. Beautiful! Ran it into a Peavey classic 50 2x12....just a Boss digital delay in the loop, and an old Ibanez TS9 I've had forever up front. Oh man...the tone and feel of this guitar! I get it. Paul has a passion for making these superb guitars and it translates into a great sounding, versatile, pleasure to play instrument. I see more of these in my future. I know I like to see pics with posts...so...here it is.

Congrats! I was in the same boat, and the McCarty 58 was my first. Same reaction: where has this been all my life?
