Hello folks. I am the proud owner of a PRS guitar. It's been a long journey so let me tell you the tale. Firstly, i'm Neil from Kentucky and I am a amateur/student of the guitar. I take lessons 2x a week for a hour each. This guitar thing is a hobby that I got into a long time ago. The guitars I have had and still have are a Ibanez RG570 that I still own, which was made in 1989 and I have had it all these many years. I have a Epiphone Les Paul, but it's a sweet axe, its a 1-1000 Joe Bonamassa signature guitar. This is the first and only Les Paul I have ever played and I am in love with the tone. Good job Epi! I also had a 2012 Fender Stratocaster usa standard that had noiseless pickups and that guitar could squeal and put out harmonics like crazy. I really loved that guitar. So, I saw an add in craigslist a few days ago, cause I'm always GAS for good deals. There was this beautiful 2005 PRS ce24 for sale for 1000 dollars. No way I can afford that so, I offered up my Fender for a trade. Guy wanted 280 bucks with the trade so I hit the bank and got it. This ce24 is MINT, not a swirl or a ding or a dent anywhere to find. Clean and probably never played. It's indigo blue, which blue is my favorite color. He said the only reason he was dealing with me, was he had it on sale for a year and nobody was interested. That is because I believe the lord almighty reserved this guitar so it would be in my hands. This was killing me, but I came home last night with it, and I could not plug it in, because my wife was in bed. So, when I came home from work today I took a shower and played for a hour. I played her through my Marshall avt275 with a dunlop mxr super bad ass distortion, with some delay, and on my Vox ac50, all tube amp. Nothing could hold this tone machine up. I used to have a Ibanez Jem, which are supposed to be the holy grail of craftmanship and tone, and that Jem IMHO cannot hold a candle to the PRS ce24. The feeling of inspiration just coursed though my bones playing this thing. I don't know why I never thought to try a PRS, I'm going to own this thing forever.
