Even tho I only own one PRS I thought I'd go ahead and share my favorite guitars that I currently own. I recently sold a couple to make room for a new family member (for real, a baby haha), so from the ones I kept these are definitely my favorites.
Without further ado, will start with the PRS so you can easily skip the rest in case you're note interested.
PRS SE 245
- SD Pearly Gates pickups
- soon to receive major upgrades
Fender Am Pro Stratocaster
- completely stock, I find it to be just perfect
Fender Highway 1 Telecaster
- reversed control plate
- fender twisted tele neck / Dimarzio twang king bridge
- push pull volume for 2 pickups in series, regardless of the toggle position
Epiphone Casino (MIC)
- Graphtech nut, otherwise stock
Taylor 214CE
Best acoustic for the money I've ever played.
The ones I sold were a Fiesta red partscaster, and an Olympic white fender mustang 90.
As you can see I'm kinda leaning towards the Fender side of things, and also not a big spender. In all honesty I stepped foot into PRS territory because I didn't want to spend big bucks in a Les Paul, but man was I surprised with how good this SE feels and plays. So much so I'm about to spend a few more bucks into enhancing what's already there.
I'm rather happy with what I kept in my collection tho, I feel I have the right tool for most of the jobs I have when I play or record.
If you made it this far, thanks for reading and sorry for the extra babbling about myself
