Don't lick doorknobs and stay in school
Well recently my dad told me if I wanted to mod and experiment on guitars I can get a cheap guitar. So I decided my first, beat up squire strat would be perfect! I gutted the body and I am going to refinish it. The neck............. Oh boy! I am refretting it at the moment and I have already had to patch up THREE spots so far with rose wood dust. I am tapping them out (so much harder than soldering the frets and heating them up) and its satisfying to tap them out but heating them up would be so much easier. Anything I could do to fix up potential spots where there is chipping?
