I've currently got an SE 245 with the Wide/Fat neck and I can tell you that it is, hands down the BEST guitar for the money I've ever seen, held or played. Even value aside, it's a fantastic guitar. I sat down at a local shop, plugged into the same amp I have at home, and played the SE 245 along side a brand new Gibson Les Paul Studio (this was 2 years ago almost) and the SE PRS 245 blew the Gibson away!! It wasn't even remotely close...and the PRS SE is half the price!
I would recommend the SE line to ANYONE looking for an amazing guitar! The 245 has great sounding pups, the Wide/Fat neck is PERFECT for the single cutaway style and you can play it all day long and never get tired of it. I had my guitar tech add a coil tap on the neck pup and oh boy...wow what a great sound.
You will never go wrong with the new line of SE guitars. Never.
