hey all,
I've been an acoustic player for a while now and have had a great time playing my A10E but would like a nice electric for when the mood strikes, I'm looking at a custom 24 SE I think but here in Australia the used market is non existent for PRS and the S2 range is double the price of the SE and to my hands there just wasn't that much more guitar there.

Any known issues with the current SE range?

Nothing wrong with the SE. Sure some sacrifices were made to bring the price down, but overall it's the best student level player on the market. Some folks will say it is worth changing out the nut and some say the tuners. I say try it first before you do. I change them only if I hear binding when tuning. My SE's play just fine.

That's pretty much been my experience with the A10e, I've played several martins and none where as comfortable and while tone is subjective I prefer the PRS..

Love my SE and all my core guitars. Only reason I changed the tuners out on the SE Orianthi was because everything I own must have locking tuners. LoL!
