New to the PRS world. I purchase my 10 Top Custom 24 PRS from the candyshop. Unsure what a good price for these guitars are for but it was listed for $5500 and got them down to $4100. Brand new.

For people that purchase the Custom 24s is that the going price for new? Did I over pay? Just courious, i am loving the guitar regaurdless. Its very different from a gibson and fender/start and tele. But ill warm up too it.

Just like to here others experiance being first
time owners and all. These are expensive! Had to put out half down and finace the rest on zero interest card. But now im a proud owner of a PRS

o I didnt know, thats really an odd policy.

Why hinder information/communications? O well thanks for all the swell welcomes....

i had a question i seen some aftermarket rings that go over the pickup made of brass. Would that interfere with the magnetics'?

It’s a forum owned by PRS. They don’t want their own forum to cause competitive issues for their dealers or themselves, so they have a rule against it. There are plenty of places to talk about prices in other venues.

A review of what you see for prices when you search for that exact same model in Google Shopping site would get you the same answer all on your own, FYI.

I don't think it's against the rules to tell you that you didn't get ripped off. Feel good about it and play the strings off that thing.

By the way, my first was a Cu24 just like you describe. Here's a photo. Can't believe that was 19 years ago. I'm old guys...
